Anggun - Rollercoaster and Coun On Me

Anggun - Rollercoaster (Lyrics)

The rise and the fall

Anything in between the two

Its almost like an exercise

The high and the low

We have seen before

Whenever love and hate collide

I cant live without

Our whispers and our shouts

The reason my hearts beating fast

Dont care if its hell or heaven

Cause Im here with you

Lifes a rollercoaster ride and

Im not scared with you

Its alright

Theres nothing we cant do

Reaching out

Can always pull this through

Its alright

As long as we are two

All that is said and done

When all the hope is gone

Theres always something in your eyes

You catch me when I fall

As far as I can recall

With you Im gravity defied

This I cant get enough

Whats good when its rough

The reason my hearts beating fast

Dont care if its hell or heaven

Cause Im here with you

Lifes a rollercoaster ride and

Im not scared with you

Its alright

Theres nothing we cant do

Reaching out

Can always pull this through

Its alright

As long as we are two

Life is a rollercoaster ride..

Anggun - Count On Me (Lyrics)

There are times when the sun warms

And the times when the heat of it seems not enough, for you

There are days when your heart laughs

And the days when the weight of the burden you have, breaks you

If you ever feel alone on those days

Or when you feel astray

Know that you can always

Count on me

Count on me

When your mind is filled with doubts

And theres nothing but heartache thats hanging around, with you

When youre running in circle

And you think that all hope is gone theres nothing left, for you

If you ever feel afraid on those days

Suddenly feel dismayed

Know that you can always

Count on me

Count on me

Sometimes we rise and we fall

Sometimes its hard to stand tall

Maybe its nothing but its true

That I will be here

Yes I will be here

There are times when the sun warms

And the times when the heat of it seems not enough, for you

If you ever have one of those days

When all you see is grey

Be sure you can always

Count on me

Count me

Sailing through with Sheila On 7

The crowds from children to middle-aged mothers applauded enthusiastically when Eros, the guitarist of pop band Sheila On 7, began playing the intro of its first song for a music program at television station RCTI in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

This music program has been made for the release of our seventh album Berlayar [Sailing]. This is a way for the band to thank its fans for their support and tell them that were still here playing our music, Eros said.

Nge-H1etsnya Berlayar is a music program featuring artists from various music genres with a storyline to keep it fresh and favored by its audience. From pop to Rock & Roll music, the program is a show to watch as you relax and enjoy your weekend.

The shows main theme Berlayar is taken from Sheila On 7s latest album with the same name. To underline the show, the stage set resembles a sailboat. In addition, the stage is enriched with decorations from Yogyakarta, the band members hometown.

During the music show, Sheila On 7 also collaborated with other artists such as She, The Changcuters and Yovie & Nuno.

The idea for this launch came from our label. It is a strategy to work together with friends from RCTI to help us make a concept for this launch. We are all definitely relieved because everything is going smoothly.

Fans come and sing with us. Beside, we received a Platinum Award for Ring Back Tone & Album Sales. We have it all and just cant ask for more, said Akhdiyat Duta Modjo aka Duta, the bands frontman.

Fans from all over Jakarta seem to enjoy Sheila On 7 who perform hit songs such asSephiaandPria Kesepian(Lonely Man). Music enthusiasts also sing with guest artists such as The Changcuters, She, Yovie & Nuno, Mhyta and Lala Karmela.

Receiving this award is something that has gone beyond my imagination. This is actually the first award I have received since joining Sheila On 7. It is a blessing, said Brian Kresna Putro, drummer and also the latest member of Sheila On 7.

Behind a great show must be a great creative head who makes the show looks fantastic. For the music program Nge-H1etsnya Berlayar, the creative head is Pristi Gusmatahati.

The major issue is actually time. Our creative team was only given a week to do this project with Sheila On 7. We have only five effective days, she said.

On Monday (April 11), the band just landed in Jakarta after their concert in Adelaide, Australia. The creative team had a serial meeting with the band at midnight at the airport.

Just on Wednesday [April 13] we started preparation for the show, she added.

Pristi said the music program Nge-H1ets was adjusted to a specific theme. For the purpose of Sheila On 7s album launch last weekend, the music pro-gram was titled Nge-H1ets Berlayarto accommodate the bands new album Berlayar.

Gigi Reborn at Seventeen

Seventeen years old is an age when people tread into maturity, but for a band like Gigi, seventeen is when they are reborn as a team.

They see the moment as a new chapter. For their birthday concert, titled Sweet Seventeen, Gigi will unite with four well-known conductors on May 26 at Istora Senayan in Central Jakarta: Addie M.S., Erwin Gutawa, Andi Rianto and Tohpati.

After bitter, fresh, sweet and salty experiences in our journey, at last we can be together with them. In my eyes, these conductors are legends. Thank God, said bassist Thomas Ramdhan.

Armand Maulana, the vocalist, was happy because Gigi could finally work with all the conductors in a big performance together, something that had never happened before.

This might be one of the biggest dreams for this anniversary. We can bring together Gigi and these [conductors] in one show, said Armand

In tune with Gigis members, all of the conductors are excited too.

Tohpati says Gigi is a band that never split up, but he cant quite explain why. According to him, the band members play well together and their management works well too. A great band, I think. There are no more [like them], said Tohpati.

Every time Andi Rianto listens to Gigi, he says, he thinks of the great band members and the quality of their music. Naturally he said yes when he was asked to perform with them. I get a chance to be on one stage with my teachers, these [conductors]. So come on, [Im] ready, said Andi.

Adhie M.S. said he was very excited when Gigis manager contacted him, because he would perform not only with legendary band Gigi but also with Andy.

At first, Erwin Gutawa wanted to refuse the offer, but he finally accepted it. He had no reason to refuse.

Thomas said Gigi had many types of songs, spanning a wide variety of moods such as mellow, rock and steady beats. Gigis members decide which songs will best match each conductor.

The concept is multiform, so Gigi will perform rock, pop, religious and jazz music packaged with an orchestra and band. We will work on the staging and music to make it all harmonize, said Dhani Pette, the bands manager.

Dhani added that the other performers were also the best in their class, such as Agnes Monica, Ari Lasso, Pasha (Ungu), Iwa K. and DJ Riri. Other former band members will also be performing: Aria Baron, Ronald Fristianto, Opet Alatas and Budhy Haryono.

As for the reunion, Armand said Gigi would not have lasted seventeen years without them, so Gigis current members respect and love them.

Believe me, perhaps, in the end, the stage appearance will be secondary. We bring quality music played by qualified people, said Dhani.

It is impossible for Gigi to bring together the conductors without a unifying concept. What is it? Wait for the date and watch [for yourself] on the 26 [of May]. What is the concept? That will be a surprise, said Armand.
